Your 5 Minute Wedding Budget Worksheet

Budgeting doesn’t get more important than when it comes to weddings and having a wedding budget worksheet can really make a difference. You’re probably thinking that organizing a wedding is hectic and stressful due to the amount of things that have to be prepared. As a result, I have written this article to outline the essential categories of expenses to plan the wedding of your dreams.

At the top of any wedding budget worksheet you have the 6 most important categories: the wedding gown, bride’s accessories, hair & make-up, groom’s attire, groom’s accessories and the wedding bands. These are the things that should always be budgeted first.

After that, you have the following categories: the ceremony rental, the reception rental and equipment, celebrant’s fees and flowers. Once you have budgeted money for these categories of expenses, you’ve got all the necessary things to get married. But of course, you have to accommodate the guests better than that.

Last but not least you have the following categories: food, beverages, cake, decorations, music, photography, video, invitations, transportation, accommodation for the couple’s wedding night, attendants’ gift and miscellaneous costs.

Keep in mind that the cost of the food and beverages is determined by the number of guests you invite to the wedding. When you start making a wedding budget, it’s probably best to decide on the amount of money you’ve set aside and then determine the expenses and the number of people to invite. Otherwise, you will risk overspending.

My only hope is that this article gives a great rundown of the categories that should make up a wedding budget worksheet to make it the happiest day of your life.
